| sCTLA-4

Soluble costimulatory molecule 4 (sCTLA-4) is the soluble form of cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4), which negatively regulates T cell activation by competitively binding to B7 molecule (CD80/CD86) and plays a key role in autoimmune diseases and tumor immune escape ‌. Its detection is of great significance for immune-related disease mechanism research and treatment evaluation.Produced by selective splicing of CTLA-4 gene mRNA, missing transmembrane region.Binding to the B7 molecule, blocking CD28 co-stimulatory signal ‌, inhibits T cell activation.
